Crisis Lines

If you or someone is in danger, call 911 for help. It is important to notify the operator that it is a psychiatric emergency and ask for police officers trained in crisis intervention or trained to assist people experiencing a psychiatric emergency. ***(Please note I Justine Hoff LMFT am NOT a crisis resource, and the following resources may be utilized along with a Safety Plan developed for you in a therapy session.)

24-Hour Crisis Line

Confidential telephone counseling and referral information is provided any time of day or night by trained crisis volunteers. Immediate crisis intervention over the phone can decrease the need for more intensive counseling services. (916) 368-3111 or Toll Free (800) 273-8255

Mental Health Urgent Care Clinic (Sacramento only)

Provides services on a walk-in basis to individuals of all ages who are experiencing a mental health and/or co-occurring substance abuse crisis. (Please call ahead of your visit to verify that the MHUCC is open.) Monday - Friday, 10 am - 10 pm (last walk-in at 9 pm) Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays, 10 am - 6pm (last walk-in at 5 pm) 2130 Stockton Boulevard, Building 300, Sacramento, CA 95817 (916) 520-2460
